Dr. Kimberly Dolman

Dr. Kim Dolman graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1992 and received her TPA Certification in 1996. Kim and her optometrist husband Dr. Howard Dolman purchased Dolman Eyecare from the founder in 1994.

Kim began her journey into neurovisual rehabilitation after her daughter suffered from a concussion. She saw first-hand the benefit of vision therapy in her daughter’s rehabilitation, and was motivated to learn more about this under-serviced area of optometry. In 2016, Kim began traveling to specialty courses across North America. She has attended over 1000  hours of extended training to become comfortable in the diagnosis and treatment of neurovisual system disorders. In 2018 she started a second clinic serving patients with post-traumatic vision syndrome along with those suffering with binocular vision disorders and vision-related learning difficulties,

Kim is a Clinical Associate of Vision Therapy Canada (VTC), the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD), Optometric Extension Program (OEP), Vision Aces Academy, and Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA).

Kim has served as a Primary Care Externship Supervisor for the University of Waterloo School of Optometry, and in 2016, both she and Howard were awarded the Public Education Award of Merit from the Ontario Association of Optometrists.

Kim and Howard are proud parents of four adult children, and enjoy traveling, reading, music and physical fitness.
